Warwick Adeney is an Australian violinist and orchestral leader.
After graduating from the Queensland Conservatorium of
Music as the Gold Medal graduate, he joined the Queensland Theatre Orchestra in which he rose to the concertmaster position.
When the Queensland Philharmonic and Queensland Symphony Orchestras merged in 2001, Warwick led the orchestra, serving in the role
of Concertmaster of the Queensland Symphony Orchestra for more than two decades.
After stepping down as concertmaster in 2023, he has continued to pursue his interests in teaching and
music-making more broadly in the community.
