Evgeny Ukhanov is one of Australia’s most respected concert pianists. Lauded as a ‘musicians’ musician’, his intuitive communication with orchestras, ensembles and soloists alike is highly regarded. Featured on the SBS series ‘Prodigy’ in 2001, and ABC’s ‘Rising Stars’ program in 2006 and 2008, Evgeny has also performed in England, Romania, Italy, USA, France, Germany, Japan, Spain, Norway, Ukraine and Russia.

He has performed solo and chamber music for ABC Classic FM and 2MBS FM as well as with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Australian Chamber Orchestra and the Sydney Youth Orchestra. His stunning performance of Rachmaninov’s Third Piano Concerto during the Sydney International Piano Competition in 2004 won him 3rd prize, making him the youngest ever prize winner in this renowned competition. Evgeny’s support of charitable causes has earnt him respect beyond the musical world.

Evgeny has performed for the NSW Doctors Orchestra, Medecins Sans Frontiers, the Red Cross, and for the Day of Difference Foundation. He teaches and accompanies in Sydney, as well as managing a hectic touring and performing schedule
